Dominica

Retail Services and Trade Sales Manager (Due May 10, 2024)

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow Retail (company store), Dealer, and Trade (Contractor/B2B) market shares in Dominica.
2. Lead the Retail & Trade sales teams as per business objectives, and oversee daily Retail store operations.
3. Manage the omnichannel customer experience through support, information, and advice.

Skills, Competencies and Requirements:

1. Experience in Retail & Trade business development through sales and marketing activities.
2. High level of interpersonal, relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills. 
3. Customer focused with a passion for excellence and a “can do” attitude.
4. Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications and Point of sales systems.
5. Champion positive plans to enhance the customer service experience.
6. Possess a valid driver’s licence and a vehicle.
7. Knowledge of the paint or construction industry would be an asset.

Qualifications / Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business orrelated field, with at least 5 years’ experience in a Sales role. 

OR

• 8 years of knowledge and proven experience of working in the Paint industry or in Sales along with a Diploma in Business Management.

Senior Finance Officer (Due May 15, 2024)

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Assist with daily Finance functions related to accounts payables, accounts receivables,inventory management, general ledger and fixed asset management as per business objectives. 
2. Support the financial reporting, audit, reconciliation, taxation, and other related accounting activities on time in full. 
3. Process and maintain accurate invoices, transactions, records, and reports. 

Qualifications / Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting along with 5 years’ experience in an Accounting role. 

OR

• Completion of ACCA or similar accounting designation along with at least 3 years’ experience in an Accounting role.

Finance Officer (Due May 15, 2024)

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Perform a variety of accounting and administrative tasks as per business objectives.
2. Ensure all aspects of the Finance function are carried out in a correct and efficient manner.
3. Maintain accurate records, prepare timely reports, and analyze financial information.
4. Maintain and apply financial and accounting standards and policies in order to support the operation.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Three (3) A’ Level passes including Accounting or an Associate’s degree in Business with at least three years of experience in the Accounting field. 

OR 

• Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) designation or any similar designation or equivalent (eg. ACCA Level 1) with at least two years of experience in the Accounting field. 

Skills, Competencies and Requirements for the positions:

1. Excellent knowledge of Account systems, specific knowledge of Sage and related business modules will be an asset.
2. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
4. Passion for excellence with a “can do” attitude.
5. Knowledge and experience of working in the Paint industry.
